Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the production line operations and staff, ensuring compliance with policies and timely fulfillment of customer orders. The role collaborates with Maintenance, QA, Customer Service and Warehouse to maintain smooth shifts and resolve issues.

The position requires scheduling, training on scanning systems, GMP monitoring, and active involvement in HACCP and safety committees.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software.
• Expertise in production operation including organizing, troubleshooting, and applying safety & quality principles.
• Previous supervisory experience or supervisory training.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient for technical duties and regulatory docs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule personnel to meet production requirements.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings.
• Conduct health & safety meetings with hourly staff.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce procedures.
• Train staff on scanning system and company procedures.
• Monitor GMPs, sanitation, and housekeeping.
• Complete daily production and pre-op checklists.
• Plan and schedule production across blending and packaging.
• Monitor production activities and equipment maintenance.
• Record hours and attendance; support month-end inventory.
