Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting on behalf of a leading food processing company in Charlotte, NC, for a Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift. You will oversee the processing floor, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvements with a hands-on leadership style.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on training and guiding hourly teams toward efficient production and quality goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of related experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with loud noise levels and refrigerated conditions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct work on the processing floor to ensure production schedules are met efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and cleanliness protocols to protect consumer health and company reputation.
• Monitor quality checks and implement improvements to meet quality goals and reduce risks.
• Lead and support hourly associates in safety, risk management, and operational activities to foster a safe and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with management to develop training plans and support continuous process and product improvements.
