Job summary

Teasdale Latin Foods in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (2 PM–11 PM) to lead a team in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production.

You will hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff, coordinate with maintenance and QA, and implement process improvements while maintaining accurate records and complying with GMP, HACCP, and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years in a supervisory role in food manufacturing
• Knowledge of GMP, food safety regulations, and quality management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and 5S
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of production workers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Plan and coordinate production activities to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, GMP, and quality standards
• Collaborate with Production/Unit Manager to develop schedules and process improvements
• Inspect production areas and equipment for safety and quality issues; take corrective actions
• Train workers on SOPs, safety, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for performance tracking
• Enforce safety protocols and PPE usage
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
• Provide regular reports on productivity, yield, downtime, and quality metrics
