Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 1st shift in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will organize and direct processing floor activities to meet schedules while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cleanliness for the hourly workforce.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of progressive supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in a food processing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Three to five years of related experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment near moving mechanical parts and in refrigerated and freezing conditions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct work on the processing floor to meet production schedules efficiently.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cleanliness standards are maintained by the hourly workforce.
• Monitor quality checks to meet quality goals and food safety standards, reducing organizational risks.
• Lead and support employee safety initiatives, risk management, and labor relations activities to foster a safe and engaging work environment.
• Collaborate with management to develop training plans that support organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
