Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Dayville, CT is seeking an Extruder Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 12:00 am) to set up, operate, and maintain extruding machines used for jacket insulation. You will ensure tolerances are met while aligning center cable to insulation and producing high-quality extruded products. The role requires operating the extruder at specified speeds, setting up equipment, and meeting productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruder at required speeds.
• Set up extruder and center cable to insulation within tolerances.
• Complete required tests on cable and perform departmental tasks.
• Maintain productivity and willingness to make changes to improve job performance.
• Communicate effectively with team and work with minimal supervision.
