Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC in Saddle Brook, NJ is seeking an Extruder Operator for the 2nd shift to set up, maintain and operate extrusion equipment. You will ensure continuous, safe production and work closely with teammates to meet quality targets.

Requirements include 2–3 years of extrusion experience with wire, PVC or plastic, ability to read blueprints and adjust machine settings. Shift is 3:30PM–12:00AM with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of extrusion experience with wire, PVC and/or plastic extrusion.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operators are responsible for all activities on their machine for their shift.
• Set up machines to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed, temperature).
• Load extruder hopper with plastic granules and color concentrate per job specs; set up printing section if needed.
• Load reels of wire into payoff stand and guide through extrusion process.
• Monitor machine functions and output; identify and fix issues during the shift.
• Ensure production procedures run smoothly and safely; perform other duties as assigned.
