Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service via phone and email to internal and external customers.

• Prepare and schedule next-day deliveries and routes based on priorities and driver availability.
• Communicate with drivers regarding special delivery instructions, pickup and delivery routing, and proof of delivery questions.
• Apply ancillary charges such as waiting time and van fees to job orders.
• Post routes and recurring orders in the CXT system accurately and timely.
• Manage driver activations and deactivations in the system.
• Complete daily scheduled coverage reports for management review.

Job Description

Dispatcher (Evening Shift) – Logistics & Customer Service

Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite) Pay: $28–$32 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our operations team. In this role, you will coordinate and manage job orders for independent driver contractors while ensuring exceptional customer service and on-time delivery performance. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who thrives in a logistics environment, communicates effectively, and can prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Provide excellent customer service via phone and email to internal and external customers
• Dispatch and assign job orders to independent driver contractors
• Prepare and schedule next-day deliveries and routes based on priorities and driver availability
• Communicate with drivers regarding:
• Special delivery instructions
• Pickup and delivery routing
• Questions related to deliveries and proof of delivery
• Apply ancillary charges such as waiting time and van fees to job orders
• Post routes and recurring orders in the CXT system accurately and timely
• Manage driver activations and deactivations in the system
• Complete daily scheduled coverage reports for management review
• Reassign routes and resolve scheduling conflicts as needed
• Report driver and customer issues to Driver Support and Operations Management
• Gather and enter order information accurately into the system
• Support additional operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or logistics experience preferred
• Dispatching experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatching/scheduling software
• Ability to work independently and make timely decisions
