Job summary

Crossroads Courier, Inc. is seeking an experienced Dispatcher for the evening shift in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on coordinating and managing orders with independent driver contractors while delivering exceptional customer service and on-time delivery performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or logistics experience preferred.
• Dispatching experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatching/scheduling software.
• Ability to work overtime as operational needs require.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service via phone and email to internal and external customers.
• Dispatch and assign job orders to independent driver contractors.
• Prepare and schedule next-day deliveries and routes based on priorities and driver availability.
• Communicate with drivers regarding special delivery instructions, pickup and delivery routing, and proof of delivery questions.
• Apply ancillary charges such as waiting time and van fees to job orders.
• Post routes and recurring orders in the CXT system accurately and timely.
• Manage driver activations and deactivations in the system.
• Complete daily scheduled coverage reports for management review.
