Job summary

Republic Services in Kentucky seeks a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, under supervision. You will help keep a modern fleet on the road, supporting drivers and maintaining advanced vehicles.

The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems, 1-3 years of experience, and the ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot faults. A certified diesel maintenance program is a plus, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred and basic diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance and some repair.
• Perform oil changes, fluids replenishment, light repairs, tire changes, and basic electrical work.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify issues and sources of malfunctions using tools.
