Job summary

Republic Services in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under supervision. You will work on a modern fleet, support drivers, and gain exposure to advanced vehicle systems.

The role requires 1-3 years of experience, basic knowledge of vehicle and electrical systems, and the ability to follow SOPs. Shift is 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with competitive wages and benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance.
1–3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
Areas of equipment maintenance may include vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments; oil changes and fluids replenishment; adjustments and light repairs including tire changes; and basic electrical work.
Able to conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and the sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
