Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to perform complex repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment across our fleet in Kentucky. You will diagnose multi-system issues, repair chassis, brakes, engines, hydraulics, and HVAC, and use scan tools to troubleshoot on-site and on-road challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing multi-system issues on heavy-duty trucks.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Class B CDL or higher is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains advanced knowledge of and strong skill proficiency in vehicle components and systems.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance; Refuse bodies and braking systems; Engine repair and diagnostics.
• Verification of diesel fuel systems, aftertreatment systems, and diagnostics using scan tools.
• Line maintenance, welding and fabrication; identify malfunctions using electronic tools; complete required training.
