Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II in Florida to operate and set up CNC machines, producing precision parts to tight tolerances. You will follow engineering drawings, use OOQ standards, and maintain quality while meeting safety and productivity goals.

The role requires 3+ years CNC experience; an associate degree or machinist apprenticeship is preferred. Competitive benefits, on-site work, and a team-focused culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Math and English skills (EU/UK descriptors optional) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions.
• Perform progressive machining of parts with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily checklists and PM schedule.
• Record activities in the job tracking system and maintain 5S standards.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards as required.
