Job summary

Tecomet in Florida is seeking a CNC Machinist II to produce precision parts by operating CNC machines and following engineering drawings and work instructions. You will ensure quality and safety, maintain tooling and records, and contribute to continuous improvement and productivity targets.

The role requires 3+ years of CNC machining experience, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to read gauges and use measurement equipment. Shift: Swiss 2nd shift with shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining preferred.
• Experience in a production environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions and drawings.
• Perform progressive machining of diverse parts with close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and adjust as needed for wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine PM and keep records on the job tracking system.
• Identify and support continuous improvement activities.
