Oakland Schools is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Engineer for the Birmingham Public Schools district. This is a 12-month, full-time position for the second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm.

The role reports to the Manager of Operations and Maintenance Supervisor of Skilled Trades and involves maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across district facilities. This opportunity requires hands-on technical skills to keep boilers, HVAC equipment and building

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of boilers, air handlers, univents, exhaust fans, chillers, DDC systems and related components.
• Maintenance of plumbing, door hardware, electrical systems and other building components.
• Support building operations in a Birmingham Public Schools district setting; 2pm–10:30pm shift.
