Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a Seasonal Second Cook for Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, WY. You will prepare food for guest orders and collaborate with the serving team in a fast-paced kitchen.

This 2027 Spring/Summer season role offers weekly pay, employee discounts, flexible 32–40 hour weeks, and access to park amenities. Dorm-style housing and RV hookups may be available in some cases; training and growth opportunities exist across Delaware North

• At least 1 year of back-of-house foodservice experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills for recipe measurements.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, and stocked.
• Record waste on spoilage sheet and follow waste guidelines.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory.

As a Second Cook, you will partake in important food preparation for guest orders and communicate with serving team members. Pay

$18.75 – $19.75 / hour

What will you do?

• Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items are maintained, and packages all products to proper specifications
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
• Other duties as assigned

More about you

• At least1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat
• Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift in moderate to high noise levels
• Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids, and operate kitchen equipment
• Exposed to variable temperatures
