State Emergency Coordination Center (SECC) Coordinator in Montana Disaster and Emergency Services – Fort Harrison, Montana, coordinates information, partners, and resources for state-level emergency response before, during, and after incidents.

You will monitor information sources, maintain status boards, and support incident briefings, while coordinating with state agencies, local jurisdictions, and National Guard to ensure timely support.

Qualificações

• Experience in emergency response, emergency management, EOC/ECC operations, or related fields.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, time-sensitive environment.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new systems, processes, and operational roles quickly.
• Ability to contribute as part of a small, mission-focused team.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor multiple information sources and maintain status boards and a common operating picture.
• Support situation reports and briefings, track requests for assistance.
• Coordinate with state agencies, local jurisdictions, and National Guard partners.
• Develop SECC procedures, response plans, and job aids when not activated.
• Support training, exercises, and readiness assessments.
