We are seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Manager to lead the preparation and filing of all external financial reports and regulatory disclosures for a large, global public company. This role is highly visible and plays a critical part in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting under U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory frameworks.
The ideal candidate brings strong public company reporting experience, a foundation in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred), and the ability to manage complex, cross‑functional reporting initiatives — including emerging ESG and sustainability disclosures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q, and 8‑K, in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Oversee quarterly earnings release reporting in partnership with Investor Relations and FP&A
- Draft and review financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A to ensure compliance and clarity
- Manage the external audit process related to SEC filings and financial statement disclosures
- Support IFRS reporting requirements, as applicable
- Oversee statutory reporting coordination across global entities
- Lead financial reporting efforts related to debt offerings and other capital markets transactions
- Partner cross‑functionally with Legal, Investor Relations, Sustainability, and Operations to ensure complete and accurate public disclosures
- Support ESG and sustainability reporting initiatives, including compliance with evolving frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, CSRD)
- Monitor new and proposed accounting and regulatory guidance and provide clear summaries to leadership
- Maintain strong internal controls and reporting processes to meet tight deadlines
- Mentor and develop reporting team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
- Active CPA license required
- 8+ years of progressive experience in external reporting and corporate accounting
- Strong public accounting foundation required; Big 4 experience highly preferred
- Deep knowledge of SEC rules and U.S. GAAP
