Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an experienced Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead SEC filings (Form 10-Q/10-K) and drive technical accounting policy. You will partner with FP&A and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting under U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance.

The ideal candidate brings CPA licensure, 7+ years in public/corporate accounting, and strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• SOX compliance experience is required.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP and SEC reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly (Form 10-Q) and annual (Form 10-K) SEC filings including MD&A.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal departments for filings.
• Collaborate with FP&A to provide insights on financial results.
• Research and document technical accounting issues and new SEC regulations.
• Monitor and revise accounting policies and procedures as needed.
• Provide guidance on complex transactions and revenue recognition.
• Ensure compliance with SOX in financial reporting and accounting.
• Foster continuous improvement within the team.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams on accounting initiatives.
