Job summary

Beacon Plumbing in the Seattle area is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead and grow our HVAC service operation. This hands-on leadership role focuses on building a high-performing team, improving technician performance, and delivering exceptional customer experience.

You will monitor KPIs, manage resources, recruit top talent, and collaborate with dispatch, sales, installation, and leadership to maximize scheduling and profitability across Seattle and Puget Sound.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC leadership or management experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate technicians.
• Strong business acumen with KPI, revenue, and profitability focus.
• Customer-first mindset with professionalism and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department.
• Coach and develop HVAC technicians and apprentices.
• Build a high-performing service team focused on quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and growth.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain top HVAC talent.
• Establish expectations and hold team accountable for performance, safety, quality, and customer service.
• Monitor KPIs including revenue, close rate, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze department performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Provide leadership and technical support during challenging calls.
• Partner with dispatch, customer service, sales, installation, and leadership to optimize scheduling.
• Champion a strong service and sales culture.
