Job summary

Harbor Foodservice is seeking a Territorial Sales Consultant to cover Seattle (Downtown, Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, Belltown, SLU, Central District). You will build consultative relationships, prospect for new customers, and grow territory revenue with a commission-based plan after year one.

Starting compensation ranges from $65,000 to $120,000 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) match, and paid time off plus EAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred.
• Successful track record in building or managing a foodservice sales territory highly preferred.
• Knowledgeable in inventory, operations, and culinary concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build consultative relationships with customers and offer proactive solutions.
• Prospect for new customers via cold calling, referrals, and presentations.
• Grow territory sales revenue and gross profit by acquiring and expanding accounts.
• Achieve monthly sales, gross profit, and Harbor Brand performance targets.
• Coordinate our team to deliver tailored solutions and product insights.
• Use data and tools to analyze trends and strengthen customer relationships.
• Provide timely communication regarding procurement and delivery needs.
• Partner with inside sales reps to support account activity.
• Maintain awareness of stock to minimize shortages and disruptions.
• Use technology to analyze trends and inform decisions.
• Handle collections on products sold and pursue ongoing development.
