Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs and territory goals, located around Jessup, MD.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and tailor solutions while staying informed about market trends, product innovations, and competitor activity. Travel to accounts and events is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years restaurant management or outside sales experience.
• Equivalent relatable experience including completion of Sysco Sales Internship may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and align solutions to customer needs.
• Provide product information and practical training to customers.
• Drive to customer accounts and participate in events and meetings.
• Review daily/weekly sales reports and prepare quotes and plans.
