Job summary

Sysco seeks an experienced Sales Professional to promote products, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and meet sales targets. This outside sales role may require non-traditional hours to serve customers effectively.

A strong emphasis is placed on customer growth and profitability within the assigned territory. The position offers a competitive base salary plus bonus and incentives, a car allowance or mileage reimbursement where applicable, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage customer relations in a sales environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable with field-based selling.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate accounts to achieve profitable growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product offerings.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Attend sales and district meetings and participate in ongoing training.
