Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a qualified cook for our Houston kitchen. You will prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, soups, and other hot items, ensuring quality and precise portioning. You will also plate, garnish, and present dishes according to standards.

The role requires at least 3 years in a full-service restaurant, strong English communication, and a team-oriented approach. This is a full-time, in-person position with benefits and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Culinary studies preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a full service restaurant.
• Verbal and written communication is essential, read recipes and safety procedures.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Good team work approach to daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items for cooking.
• Ensure quality and consistent portion sizes and plating.
• Stock and maintain ingredients at line stations for smooth service.
• Record temperatures on logs for safety and quality.
• Close the kitchen per closing checklist and assist others as needed.
• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute improvement ideas.
