Job summary

Privilege Rooftop & Lounge in Houston is seeking dedicated Line Cooks who are passionate about cooking and committed to quality. You will prepare fresh, high-quality menu items, maintain kitchen standards, and ensure efficient line operations in a fast-paced environment.

This At-Will position requires 1–2+ years of high-volume kitchen experience, 18+ with a valid Food Handlers Certification, and the ability to lift and move for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Safe knife handling and ability to lift, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: portion, chop, prep, and cook menu items to order following specs and times.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: proper handling, labeling, dating, rotation, and station sanitation.
• Quality Control: inspect ingredients and dishes for quality and report substandard products.
• Teamwork & Kitchen Operations: assist staff during rush periods and handle opening/closing cleaning tasks.
