Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a Cook II to accurately cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot items, and to portion and plate dishes. The role includes maintaining a clean kitchen and following standard portion sizes and garnishes, with duties across food prep, cooking methods and final presentation.

The position requires at least 1 year of kitchen experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English to read kitchen tickets, recipes and safety guidelines.
• Capable of remembering and promoting the variety of menu items.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables and other items using broilers, ovens, grills and fryers.
• Ensure 100% quality and consistency of all dishes served.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work areas and proper storage of all ingredients.
• Portion foods according to standard sizes and recipes.
• Follow plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Assist in food prep during peak times and when needed.
