Austin Industrial is seeking a Welder - Combination to join metal parts according to layouts, blueprints and welding procedures. The role requires 3-5 years of journeyman experience and the ability to operate electric arc-welding equipment to weld or tack weld pieces together.

The candidate will prepare pieces, preheat as needed, verify dimensions with templates, and assist in positioning large assemblies with crane operators. On-site duties and safety compliance are required.

Formación

• No formal education required.
• 3-5 years journeyman level welding experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsabilidades

• Weld or tack weld pieces using spot, electric, or gas welding equipment.
• Prepare and join metal parts according to blueprints or work orders.
• Inspect welds for quality and dimensions; ensure pieces meet specifications.
• Set up and adjust equipment, fit parts, and perform flame-cutting when needed.
• Coordinate with crane operators and other crew to move heavy work pieces.
