The role requires 3–5 years of journeyman welding experience and the ability to read blueprints. You must be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. The position involves various welding tasks and coordination with crane operators on site.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level welding experience of 3–5 years.
• Ability to read layouts, blueprints, and work orders for welds.
• Legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Work may include torch preheating, cutting, and positioning for welds.

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld pieces using spot welding gun, electric, or gas equipment.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks and operate valves for gas mix.
• Prepare pieces by preheating with torch and flame adjustments.
• Inspect welded parts for strength and meet specifications with tools.
• Coordinate with crane operators for lifting large pieces.
• Operate plasma-cutting and flame-cutting equipment as needed.
