H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate in Massachusetts to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

You will explain tax information clearly and identify potential savings opportunities while building strong client relationships. Experience in customer service and strong communication are valued, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance.
