Job summary

You’ll work directly with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions while building versatile skills and client relationships. Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or similar training.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Ability to explain information clearly and ask questions to understand needs.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI tools.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach.
