Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete tax returns for diverse clients and to interview clients to understand their financial situations. You will identify opportunities for savings and deliver personalized recommendations with strong client service in a local, in-person office.

You will collaborate with a team, build relationships, and provide support for IRS notices and audits while leveraging training and technology to grow as a tax professional.

Qualifications

• Completion of HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 1+ year in tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
