You will interview clients, offer personalized recommendations, and identify tax savings opportunities, supported by training and technology. In this role, you will provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed, collaborate with team members, and contribute to a high-performing, client-focused office environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field, including individual and business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and implications
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office environment
