Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for clients with complex situations, interview clients to understand finances, and offer personalized recommendations.

You'll deliver consultative service, identify tax savings, and support clients with IRS notices as needed. This in-person role at a local H&R Block tax office includes industry-leading training, technology, and an incentive plan designed to reward impact while you build tax

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role is needed.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
