H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses and to provide client-focused advisory services. You will interview clients, identify tax savings opportunities, and support clients through notices and audits.

Qualifications

• Must complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• At least 1 year of tax preparation or related experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred.
• Experience with GoSystem or UltraTax software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products.
• Provide IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office.
