Qualifications

2+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain tax concepts clearly
Ability to collaborate within a team to deliver a seamless client experience
Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements
High school diploma or GED or equivalent required

Responsibilities

Guide clients through a consultative experience, reviewing tax situations and offering recommendations
Translate complex tax concepts into clear, client-friendly language
Provide forward-looking tax planning guidance and recommend H&R Block products and services
Review and validate returns to ensure IRS compliance and high accuracy
