Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience including individual and small business returns.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Must meet IRS and state requirements.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through a consultative tax experience and provide personalized recommendations.
• Explain tax concepts in client-friendly language for clarity.
• Deliver proactive tax planning guidance and discuss products/services.
• Review returns for IRS compliance and assist with notices or audit inquiries.
• Stay current with evolving tax laws and Block tools.
• Build lasting client relationships with empathy and integrity.
