Responsibilities include guiding clients through consultative experiences, translating complex tax concepts into clear language, and providing proactive tax planning. You will help clients understand options and build trust for future visits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, incl. individuals and small businesses
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with client-friendly language
• Ability to collaborate within a team to deliver a seamless client experience
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through a consultative experience, reviewing tax situations and providing recommendations
• Translate complexity into clear, client-friendly tax concepts and options
• Deliver proactive tax planning guidance and discuss H&R Block products and services
• Own the accuracy of every return, and support tax notices and audits
• Stay updated on tax law and technology via training and ongoing development
• Build lasting client relationships with empathy, integrity, and follow-through
