Job summary

Five Below Inc is seeking a Manager on Duty in Fort Worth. You will oversee daily store operations, train associates, and drive sales while maintaining outstanding customer service. This hourly role requires flexibility across day/evening/weekend shifts and responsibility for opening/closing procedures.

As a key store leader, you will ensure merchandise is stocked, staff performance is optimized, and customer experiences remain high quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and some overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and service.
• Trains crew on BAS E.T. customer service experience for fast, friendly check-out.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures effective performance.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for quick placement on the floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and manages store operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Occasionally opens/closes the store, handles cash, locks doors, sets alarms, and ensures daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and operations.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by merchandising optimization and staff performance.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and store recovery processes.
• Performs maintenance tasks like cleaning and stock-room upkeep.
