Job summary

Five Below in Peabody, MA is hiring for an hourly Store Leader role. You will oversee daily store operations, train crew on customer service, and act as Manager on Duty to ensure a fast, friendly checkout and outstanding guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of management experience, high school diploma, and strong communication. The role requires flexibility to work day/evening/weekends and occasional overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly check out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Open or close the store when needed, manage cash, doors, alarms, and daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
