Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to join our store leadership team in a dynamic retail environment. You will support front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, and safety while stepping in as Manager On Duty when needed to drive exceptional customer experiences.

This temporary role offers leadership experience during peak periods, covering shifts and acting as a key link between associates and the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.
• Creative thinking and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew wow customers with personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and maintain service standards.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking for quick floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty during shifts; handle store operations and safety.
• Open/close processes including cash handling and alarms setup.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive sales by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and ensure clean, safe facilities.
