Job summary

Five Below Houston is seeking an ambitious hourly supervisor to lead crew in delivering WOW customer service and efficient check-out. You will help manage daily store operations, assist with stocking, and support onboarding and training for associates.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Starting pay is $11.50 per hour, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew WOWs customers through personal contact and fast, friendly check-out.
• Train crew on customer service best practices and POS processes.
• Oversee daily store activities and staff performance to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep floors ready for sale.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations, staffing, and urgent issues.
• Open/close the store as needed, including cash security and alarms.
