Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to help deliver an outstanding shopping experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will support front-end ops, cash management, merchandising, safety, and daily sales goals.

This hourly role includes Manager on Duty responsibilities during shifts, offering leadership exposure during peak periods. You'll train and develop crew, oversee store operations, and assist with onboarding while driving sales and controlling costs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew wow customers with personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing store operations and staff.
• Open/close the store, manage cash, doors, alarms for smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staffing.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stockroom upkeep.
