Job summary

TJX Stores in Allen, TX are seeking a full-time manager-on-duty to lead daily store operations and deliver a superior customer experience. You will supervise associates, coach performance, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining exceptional communication with management and staff.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses customer service issues and coaches Associates.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed per guidelines.
• Communicates with management on priorities; provides progress updates.
• Provides coaching and feedback to Associates.
• Partners with Management on training needs to increase effectiveness.
