Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Olympia-Lacey, WA to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining in-stock conditions while promoting rewards and private label credit cards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and participate in omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Support store recovery, in-stock optimization, and shrink/safety programs.
