Job summary

Michaels in Tacoma, WA seeks a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, assistance with product location, and fast checkout at the SEA-TACOMA store. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, planograms, and omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS) to keep shelves in stock.

Typical duties include promoting the Rewards program, card enrollments, and maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment; flexibility for evenings/weekends is common.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Stocking, truck unload, and merchandising (planograms).
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock levels, and safety standards.
