Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members for our Matthews, NC store to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will be involved in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, while promoting Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and collect feedback.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain in-store stock, merchandising, and return/go back processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
