Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member in Rio Grande, NJ to deliver friendly service, help customers locate products, and process a fast checkout. You will support truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising while ensuring a well-organized store.

The role involves promoting the Rewards program, handling returns, and participating in store recovery tasks. The position requires standing for long periods, ability to move around the store, and working nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Open to flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and credit card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC and submit feedback.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and complete merchandise recovery.
