Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking store team members at the Hoover, AL location to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find what they need, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

Employees participate in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram maintenance to keep the store well merchandised. As part of the Michaels team, you will promote the Rewards program, assist with BOPIS and SFS, and support safety and SOP compliance while providing an engaging shopping

Qualifications

• Retail knowledge and customer service experience.
• Ability to assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Familiarity with checkout standards, cash handling, and rewards enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and maintaining planograms.
• Promote the Michaels Rewards program and enroll customers.
• Educate customers about VOC and omnichannel options (BOPIS/SFS).
• Maintain a clean, well-merchandised store and handle returns.
• Support safety programs and SOP compliance.
