Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring for a Store Associate at the BIRM-TRUSSVILLE, AL location. Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for while ensuring a fast checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, cross training in Custom Framing, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS. This role emphasizes maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store and delivering our Brand Promises.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and card enrollments.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Support truck unloading, stocking, and planogram execution.
• Maintain in-stock merchandise and store recovery standards.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
