Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Prattville, AL, is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and maintain a well-stocked, clean store. You will assist with checkout, unload trucks, stock shelves, and participate in store recovery and POS procedures.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Assist with checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties to keep store in-stock and well-merchandised.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and enrollments for Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in stock and planogram processes and maintain store recovery to standards.
• Contribute to safety programs and SOP compliance.
