Job summary

Summit Health Management in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Scribe Tech for a seasonal, full-time role with an end date around 2/28/27. You will capture accurate documentation of patient visits into the EMR and assist physicians with basic patient care and procedures in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The position emphasizes DOH compliance, patient flow management, and high-quality customer service. Relevant training is provided; BLS certification is required at time of hire, and bilingual skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree a plus.
• Graduation from a Medical Assisting program and/or phlebotomy cert a plus but not required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with basic patient care and procedures.
• Direct patient flow and assist site managers with labs and inventory.
• Ensure DOH compliance for site lab and exam rooms.
• Provide compassionate, customer-focused service to patients.
